Next public event of the 22nd Season of I Medici is the 23rd Lecture-Concert continuing the series of lectures on the Biology of Music.
The Lecture Concert is taking place on Sunday April 10, 2011 at 4 PM, Oscar Peterson Concert Hall Loyola Campus of Concordia University (see map).

Dr Sibylle Herholz of Montreal Neurological Institute will present a lecture entitled

Imaging imagery: How musical training and subjective experience alter brain signatures of musical imagery.

Abstract

Under the baton of I Medici's Music Director - Maestro Iwan Edwards - the ensemble will perform Mozart's Serenade in G (K 525) Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, 2nd Serenade of J. Brahms and conclude the evening with the 104th Symphony ("London") of Joseph Haydn.
