"BioConnect wishes to challenge biotechnology graduate students to think outside "the lab" and consider the ramifications of their research in a broader societal context. The conference invites leading experts from industry, academia and government to speak to students and provide them with the knowledge and perspectives they will need to assist in sustainable innovation. BioConnect will examine how biotechnology can progress using sustainable innovation taking into consideration the social, economic and environmental impacts of their research."
